Hey all!

I got to go to E3 today! Dream come true, I've been wanting to go for what, 10 years or so already??

Games look great and booths were awesome, but I really loved that they had an art gallery for video game art, it's called "Into the Pixel", a yearly exhibit of game art that a few judges choose to be installed. They had a panel/discussion about the artwork and about concept art, it's role in video games, the issue between 'traditional vs. digital', etc. Lots of very interesting thoughts, and very inspiring for me to expand my repertoire of art style. The artwork was beautiful and inspiring as well. I had been in a sort of rut in terms of digital art, but just seeing what potential it has really makes me want to bust out my tablet and get back into it!

Definitely gonna try some more new, fresh artwork..different styles and ideas, to see where it can take me.

And of course, going back tomorrow to play some more video games!! Soo happy!
